HRC hot-rolled price has not changed significantly because the market demand is not strong. While China’s domestic HRC price has slightly increased by $580-590/mt, other markets are still in a state of waiting for better demand from the market.
Previously, the Chinese market had traded more than 100 thousand tons of HRC at a price of $570-575 CFR Vietnam, at the same time, the Indian market also reported a successful transaction of 60,000 tons of HRC SAE1006 with a higher price of $590-595 CFR Vietnam.
The Vietnam market is still active with transactions for Hoa Phat and Fomorsa because of the more competitive local prices.
